Something inside is impelling me..to mention these renowned lyrics.. “AA CHAL KE TUJHE..MAIN LEKE CHALUN ..EK AESE GAGAN KE TALE..JAHAN GAM BHI NA HO..AANSUN BHI NA HO..BAS PYAR HI PYAR PALE 🙂 ..EK AESE GAGAN KE TALE..”..
What is your biggest ‘ASSET ‘.. ??.. (Hint: Its not a Finance ques.. :P..neither am I asking you for your debit or credit card details.. :D)..
Well for me and I’m sure for most of us.. Our biggest Asset is our ‘CHILDHOOD’.. 🙂 ..as it is the only ‘capital/property’ that nobody can steal from us or tamper it..rather it always act as a trigger to laughter or say smile for sure..when we try to scribble into the memory lane..of those good old days 🙂 ..(though its a blend of both good and bad memories.. :|)
The days when :
>> When we believed that Santa really exists and would come with number of gifts on the Christmas Eve.
>>When ‘Dad’- was our only Hero..infact THE SUPER HERO of our lives.
>>’Mom’-most loving and providing soul ever.
>>’Siblings’- Best Buddies 🙂 : when we had a secret to share.
>>Biggest enemies: when they leaked out our secrets to our
parents.. :-/ 🙁
>>When an enticement of a Barbie doll or a Video Game..made us do wonders in our
>> The most Imp. day was “School’s Annual Report Day” –
>>Good Score: Ecstasy to reach home soon..(one felt as if he/she is the King/Queen of the
world 🙂 )..share it with our parents and then put the demands forward..may be a
watch, a bicycle or a video game (though most of the times it fell on deaf ears.. :()
>>Bad Score: The Doomsday..the only feeling that crept our minds was..God..I
don’t want to go home 🙁 ..and then tried all possible efforts to hide
the report card.. :/ (Yep..many a times..have actually done it..:( ).
>> When a pocket money of mere 100 or 200 bucks made us feel no
lesser than Ambanis or Mr. Mallaya.. 😉
>> When in Summers a Rs.2 Ice Cream in school tasted lots better than
today’s opulent Ice cream parlors.
>> When our lunch boxes having Mom’s cooked meals..tasted far better
than today’s sumptuous food outlets.
>> When hand made cards with crayons and sparkles over them had so
much of warmth enclosed in them..unlike today’s Archies and Paper
Rose..in which you just flip the card to see its cost.. (Don’t you..??.. ;))
>> Birthdays at home were the best parties of ones life with an excitement to
unpack those cute gifts.
>> When we just wanted a new apparels rather than a branded apparels..
figging them up made us feel no less than a Prince/Princess.. 🙂
Were we not happy??..Were we not satisfied..??..
Then..What happened now..??..Why such small things fail to turn us on ??..Why do we apply logic before emotions and still do blunders..??..
Reason is “A Quest for MORE”..infact its turning from “a Quest to a Lust for MORE “..we have turned too materialistic..and trust me this LUST is NEVER ENDING..
Nobody is asking us to become a hermit or a recluse.. Being Ambitious is very good..lets try and achieve whatever we want to..ALL DA VERY BEST FOR THAT..but a humble request is ..lets revise our lists of desires once.. Is it just .. A LUCRATIVE JOB/BUSINESS, A PRINCELY BUNGALOW, A LUXURIOUS CAR and AN AMAZING BETTER HALF..(the utmost desire.. :P).. or our list has some space for- A SEARCH FOR SELF, LOVE (just not for the other sex of our age..:P.. but for other creatures on this planet..the beautiful nature) , a SELF-ESTEEM that can back our decisions anytime and everytime, and the foremost is HAPPINESS (that lies within).. 🙂
If these points are missing ..don’t you think its time for us to hone our thought processes..Of course..it is.. 🙂
We all have a definite span on this planet..Lets live it to the fullest..Lets learn to find happiness in every small thing around.. so SMILEEEEEEE… 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
